History

Originally established as Kontroll Technik UK, the company was started in 1998 with the focus on Eddy Current heat exchanger and boiler tubes inspection. With the expansion in the electromagnetic inspection technologies and service portfolios, the company name was changed in 2005 to Innospection Limited and additional international offices have also been established.

The quality electromagnetic inspection services and innovative technology developments became the drivers of the company's growth. In our commitment to always supply our customers with a quality up-to-date inspection service, an internal Research & Development center has been set up to constantly improve the existing technologies and equipment as well as to produce new cutting edge technologies and equipment.

Innospection, with its headquarters in Aberdeen, has successfully delivered advanced Non Destructive Testing Solutions to the worldwide process industries including the Oil & Gas Industry for over 10 years. The company's impressive track record and strong commitment to servicing the Oil & Gas sector had motivated them in 2006 to move its main operations department from the original Midlands base in the UK to a larger premise and workshop facility in Aberdeen.

Innospection's expertise in the Eddy Current and SLOFEC™ inspection services and techniques has resulted in the company not only having a strong worldwide reputation for the delivery of professional inspection services within the industries, but it has also facilitated the increasing international demand.

In order serve a demanding global market and to be as close as possible to our clients, Innospection has established in 2007 its subsidiary offices in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), Al-Khobar (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Perth and Melbourne (Australia). Additionally, an international partner network has been set up to support the clients' direct communication in the areas where we are not directly located.

There is dedicated team of managers and experienced inspection engineers based at all facilities. The inspection engineers are trained and certified to operate the inspection equipments. As an outside authority accreditation, all our inspection engineers are qualified as a minimum to PCN / ASTN Level II Eddy Current and they are certified to perform inspection services on both on- and offshore.
